Join Wally on his adventure to find his way back home, and help save Australia’s most critically endangered reptile.
This charming children’s book was written and illustrated by 15 year old Neeve Blackman-Jennings. Neeve was inspired to write it as part of a year 9 class project at school, which aimed to challenge students to make the world a better place.
Neeve chose to write and illustrate a children’s book to raise awareness, funds and support for the protection of Critically Endangered local species, the Western Swamp Tortoise.
Sales of Wally’s Way Home are helping to raise funds for the Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise, an organisation that supports the rehabilitation of habitat and breeding programs for this critically endangered species.
