We respect the confidentiality of our customers. Appropriate measures have been taken to keep your personal information confidential. The information we collect is used solely for your transactions with Books for Young Minds. Your details are not shared with any third parties.
We collect your contact details such as your name, telephone number, email address and postal address. We use the information to handle orders, deliver products and communicate with you about orders, products and promotional offers.
Your payments are processed by PayPal, Braintree or AfterPay so we therefore do not gather or hold any banking or credit card information.
When you buy our products they come with an automatic guarantee as per the Australian Consumer Law. We do not accept returns if you simply change your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it. If a product needs to be returned, the buyer agrees to pay the return postage should they wish to receive a full refund. Please see further information on this on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s website.
If you need to return your order, please contact us within 5 working days of receiving your order, via the ‘Contact us’ form on our website. Please provide details of why you would like to return your items.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, using the ‘Contact us‘ form on our website. Orders can only be cancelled before they have been processed. Please provide the reason why you need to cancel your order.
Delivery of books may be between 5 to 10 working days. All items are sent via Australia Post. The timeframe varies according to the area the items are being delivered to. We rely on the information you provide to us. Please provide an accurate address when placing your order. Books for Young Minds is not responsible and shall not be held liable for delivery to an incorrect address where incorrect address information was supplied by the customer who placed the order. We currently only deliver to addresses in Australia. All orders over AUD150.00 attract free shipping.
PAYMENT AND PRICING
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Books for Young Minds accepts VISA and MasterCard via Braintree Payments and through PayPal.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you. You will be offered the opportunity to cancel your order or choose an alternative item.
Books for Young Minds reserves the right to make changes to its website and policies at any time. Books for Young Minds will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this site whether they be direct, indirect, punitive or consequential. The maximum compensation you will receive in the event this disclaimer is ineffective is the value of the items you ordered. We do not make any claim that this site is free of viruses or spyware, including emails.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia as applicable.
GROWING READERS COURSE DISCLAIMER
“Us” and “our” and “we” refer to Books for Young Minds.
“You” refers to the course participant.
2. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
This Disclaimer Statement applies to the “Growing Readers” 8 week course. It is meant to be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions (above). The information and materials that we make available to you are protected by Australian and international laws. We own the copyright to the content of the course.
As a condition of participating in the course, you agree that we own all Intellectual Property (IP) rights to the material contained within the course, and that nothing contained herein constitutes a transfer of those IP rights to anyone except as stated with our (Books for Young Minds) written permission
3. PRIVATE USE ONLY
We grant the participants in the course, the right to print out and use the material on a non-commercial, private use basis.
You must not use the material for commercial purposes, or modify the course content for any reason.
4. USE OF COURSE MATERIAL & THIRD PARTIES
You agree to use the materials at your own risk. We will not be liable for any loss as a result of using the course material.
Course material is based on personal experience. It contains references to research and third parties (about reading to children) to substantiate information contained in the course. The references are links to third party websites. You agree to click on those links at your own risk. We provide no guarantees or any responsibility for the content on third party websites.
The information provided in the course is for your information. It is not intended to be advice, and should not be relied on for legal or other purposes.
It is our intention to provide up-to-date information to course participants. We do not accept any liability or make any representation that the information contained in the “Growing Readers” course is accurate or reliable.
